Warnings

Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
Avoid concomitant use with anticoagulant/antiplatelet drugs
Turmeric can cause gallbladder contractions and should not be used by individuals with gallstones or bile duct obstruction
Turmeric may have an antiplatelet effect and may cause excessive bleeding if used preoperatively; discontinue use at least two weeks before elective surgery
Dietary supplements should not replace a balanced diet
